The eighties are always remembered as the era of psychedelic fashion. The retro riot that almost re-wrote all fashion definitions making way for a vibrant trend that is still very much a part of our lives. Plastic charm bracelets and necklaces, so reminiscent of the cha-cha-cha, times is one such trend that continues to entice kids and teenagers alike. In fact, a lot of designers use them to put together their runway ensembles.

An inexpensive way to spice up a plain look, multi-colored plastic charms like beads, hearts, teddy bears and even animals strung on plastic chains in loads look very stylish. They look quite sexy clung onto belts and bags as well. The idea is to put together lots of them, in multitude of colors. Authentic plastic charms are a little expensive, but make for a good style statement.
