Today is the most shocking and sad day in the history of pop culture. Two legends, King of pop, Michael Jackson and Charlie’s Angel star Farrah Fawcett, left the world within hours of each other. Michael’s death came as a very unexpected news which overshadowed the succumbing of Farrah over her long cancer battle. Though we feel good for Fawcett that her suffering came to an end but we can’t deny the fact that with her we lost the true fashion icon of Hollywood.
For many of us who grew up in the 70’s,Farrah Fawcett was and always will be a style icon. Her feathery blonde hair was the most happening thing in that era’s style and beauty. Labeled as “The Farrah”, the hair trend is still in fashion because of its sexy and bold look. Her hair- style was such a legacy that at first her family tried to preserve her hair during the chemotherapy until Farrah realized that she is going to loose it and took a strong step to shave her head. Well, it was the cancer who forced Fawcett to bid goodbye to the most impressive part of her.
Farrah had that look which will live on forever as it was timeless and classic. For a very long time, women will still enter their stylist’s parlor and ask for “The Farrah” cut, which will give them a look of ultimate femininity. Her smile and spirit will never be forgotten and though she has left the world, her legacy as a beauty icon will forever live on. Farrah you will never be forgotten.

Farrah was a star, she was a style icon and she will always have a special place in our hearts. It was really bad day as we lost two legends of Hollywood on a single day (Farrah and Michael Jackson). Farrah was planning a wedding with her long time beau, Ryan and it’s sad that the two lovers could not win the battle with time. May god bless her soul...
I’m happy that the dazzling actress after suffering for three painful years is finally resting in peace. However, the day is indeed bad, as the Michael Jackson could have given so much more to the music world.
