Miss world is always a glitzy affair where you get the privilege of seeing the most stunning women from around the globe on the same platform. This years contest took place on the southern holiday island of Hainann, which is referred as China’s answer to Hawaii. Two million TV audiences watched more than 100 women from around the world parading in the best of costumes, vying for the coveted title. In the end, the crown rested on the fragile head of Miss China, Zhang Zilin, the 23-year-old secretary from Beijing. Miss Angola stood second, whereas the third place went to Miss Mexico.
