Harem pants came in and made a quiet exit. But on their way out they inspired men to experiment with the top heavy, drop crotch pants. They are not really a trend as of now, but I guess they are on their way to becoming one. I personally don’t appreciate the style much for its floppy, unflattering fit, but many men do find it very comfortable and see it as a good alternative to jeans. Urban Outfitters has in fact done a pair of tapered, brushed twill pants with an exaggerated extra-high rise that doesn’t look very ridiculous. It in fact looks quite smart. I guess the overall appeal depends on the shape of the bottom. Wouldn’t you like to add one to your wardrobe?
