Rouland Mouret was a name that was famous a long time back. He was counted as one of the most famous fashion designers. However, with time Rouland lost his name may be due to the changing demands in fashion. They say, ‘the older the wine the better it is’ and I guess it has a general human application too. No excitement was seen when it was announced that RM is back. But after the show, I am pretty excited. It was a fabulous collection.
Contemporary, chic, luxurious, trendy are the few words which may describe it. The collection was basically in black, white and grey. However, hints of other colors like blue can also be seen.
Minis ruled the ramp. Cuts were very semi-formal but the stylish. Scarves and long coats were added to pieces to make them more colorful. Ankle boots were a common sight too.
Hot pants were also seen that are doing wonders for working women. The dresses can work anywhere for you from an office party to a restaurant. You can make the dresses do wonders if you add a little bit of embellishments to them. Now, I expect more from RM and I’ll be waiting eagerly for his next collection.
P.S. black, grey and white are the colors to go for.
