Origami is the art of paper folding. Most of us are taught it at school as artwork but very few carry the passion forth and take it up as a full time profession. Dressing up pretty models in exquisite creations, Brazilian Japanese designer Jum Nakao showcased his works at the 2004 São Paulo Fashion Week. Ornate intricacies and clever work of hands, the designer fashioned paper into such charming dresses that it’s difficult to believe that fabric was not used at all.
