Madonna, the face of the French Fashion house, Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2009-2010 collection made us a little sad when we saw her first photograph of the campaign. The pop singer once again collaborated with LV creative designer Marc Jacobs and photographer Steven Meisel in the hope to create a shoot as successful as the previous spring/summer shoot but this couldn’t happen.
To be very honest, it was nothing like the earlier shoot. Madonna’s picture was over- photoshopped and she didn’t look like a human but a stiff doll with no emotions. It can be called more like a mannequin or a wax sculpture from Madame Tussads.
Well, I was expecting something more exciting and interesting. All I feel is that it could have been much better with the looks of original chirpy and bubbly Madonna rather than making her play as a dummy. I just hope that the collection is not as disastrous as this campaign.
