Jolis Paons’ Phone Book Paper Dress tells us why it’s good to recycle
Asmita | Jun 26 2008

OK so what good uses can you think of for old phonebooks besides using it as a massive paper weight and as a propping device to seat smaller children at dinner table? Yeah, most people would have a hard time answering that one. But when I see this amazing Phone Book Paper Dress created by designer by Jolis Paons, it instantly makes me wanna say- why didn’t I think of that? The amazing design is actually very simple, but when you look at the execution, you cannot but help marveling at the genius of the thought processes that have gone behind it. What I especially love about this dress is that apart from being very wearable, if you’re not very heavy, its actually not as bad looking as other upcycled newspaper creations we get to see everyday simply for the reason that phonebooks mostly have duo chromatic color scheme and the orderly print makes the pattern looks even more wonderfully elegant.
