Pop celebrities Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have formally announced their separation after three years of marriage.



After three years of marriage, and careful thought and consideration, the couple parted ways, after their much talked about dangling relationship.



Both still have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other and want their privacy to be respected.



Rumours of a rift between Simpson and Lachey popped up the last month, when Simpson arrived at her sister Ashlee’s 21st brithday party without Lachey, and her wedding ring. And also, when the couple was not together for their 3rd wedding anniversary on Oct 26 and Lachey’s 32nd birthday on Nov 9.
