Footloose adjustable heels lets you adjust from flat to high heel

Finding a good pair of shoes for yourself isn’t an easy task at all. What adds to the complication of the situation is what kind of shoe should we take - one with our favorite heels or a plain toed, comfortable ones. Yes, it’s a real juggle we pass through on our shopping spree for shoes. However, I just came across a pair of shoes that will suit your needs, as it is versatile and stylish enough. These ‘Footloose adjustable heels’ are an innovation of Marte den Hollander. For your info, Marte has been recognized as ‘Best Graduate 2006′ at the Faculty of Industrial Design, TU Delft.

Now, why I am so excited talking about this shoe? The reason is that the shoe is a designer shoe that has a high heel that can be converted into low heels with a simple effort. You know what that would mean? Yeah! No more bugging about shoes, changing of heels with your mood and lots of fun.

Here are a few lines from what the marvelous designer had to say about her own creation,

The high-heeled shoe is a classic example of a no pain, no gain product. Women wearing them take so much trouble for granted! ...I designed a shoe with a high heel, which can be changed into a shoe with a low heel. No more extra pairs of shoes in your bag, no more trouble driving a car or walking stairs, no more painful feet... The adjustment of the heel position automatically changes the curvature of the sole to fit the altered shape of the foot. This mechanism has been patented.

Well, I loved the concept and I am surely going to lay my hands on a few pairs, of course, in different colors.
