It’s apparent that Spring 2009 is going to be a fashion season that we can all see straight through! That’s right…a see-through theme seems to be dominating every runway from Paris to New York. However, “the” collection that really stood out was Givenchy’s Spring 2009, Ready To Wear collection. Chief Designer Riccardo Tisci left no stiletto unturned as models strutted down Paris runways with attitude in well thought out ensembles and AMAZING shoes.
Givenchy’s Spring 2009 collection is a great prediction of what you can expect this Spring. Trends include dark hues, tight and funky Lycra trousers, whimsical puff shouldered jackets, half-jeans, and half-chaps! Kind of reminds us of 1980’s Madonna at a summer horse riding camp….. but it actually works!
