If there was ever an actor who went out with a bang, heath Ledger in his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight has definitely got to be it. The movie hit the big screen on July 18th and has already been charted as a blockbuster 2008 riding on some smashing special effects and the eeriest Joker in the entire Batman series to date. The first face off of batman and the joker in over a decade makes for some real breathtaking action though I almost feel a little sorry for Christian Bale who was completely overwhelmed by the attention bestowed on the late Ledger, who BTW, totally steals the show with a stellar performance! You too can show your dedication to the super hero and the super villain with special Batman merchandise including t-shirts, posters and hats! And while you’re at it, I say knock yourselves out since its all for just under $20!
