Roberto Cavalli, the flamboyant designer from Italy has set his sight on Dubai. He plans on reworking the party scene by introducing the Arabs to his designer Cavalli Club. A nightspot that will feature the ever-famous Cavalli’s Selection of red wine, the wine bar promises to be one of the best. As a part of the Fairmont Dubai, the Cavalli Club will sport an exclusive independent entrance. True to his style, Roberto plans on doing up the floors in shiny black quartz peppered with crystal dust that reflects. Walls encrusted with Swarovski crystals will heighten the bling-quotient. The two-story club will also house the finest jewelry, watches and accessories that are a trademark of the designer.
An Italian-specific menu will offer gastronomical delights for revelers to indulge in. Exploiting his talents to the fullest, his idea of hosting a sushi bar and a wine bar on two suspended atolls in golden glass and fur seems quite exquisite. A lounge bar with DJ and dancers performing on another suspended platform complete the entertainment package. The doors to the Cavalli Club Dubai will open up by November this year. Roberto’s touch will grace Florence and Milan soon after.
