Till now President Barack Obama was inspiring street fashion, but now he has become a subject of haute couture, runway fashion. Designer Guillermo Mariotto’s recent collection, showcased a kaftan emblazoned with his face in vivid colors.

The ankle-length, long-sleeved kaftan designed for Roman fashion house Gattinoni featured a beautiful larger-than-life portrait, capturing the most assuring expression on the President’s face. The natural fiber gown, in tones of red, blue and beige has the word ‘Change’ written across the bottom. I guess it symbolizes the renewed hope of change that the world expects him to bring about. The President, undoubtedly, is the latest fashion icon.
