Commissioned by Jaeger LeCoultre, the Atmos 561 is a brand new luxury clock created by designer Marc Newson that reinterprets the classic Atmos clock in a totally modern avatar. The clock is powered by a hermetically sealed capsule of gas and liquid ethyl chloride which expands and contracts with fluctuations in atmospheric pressure and compresses a spring which winds the mechanism of the clock. Crafted in Baccarat crystal, the luxury timepiece also features a moon phase indicator and month indicator making the watch’s functions very comprehensive and encompassing.
