Some designers draw inspirations from unlikely sources. While the health agencies worldwide are striving to battle with the AIDS menace, jewelry designer Andriy Kurovets has found the deadly virus the subject of his new creation – the Ring “AIDS”. Kurovets, being an industrial design seems to relate more with the abstract form than with natural beauty. As for the “AIDS-virus” ring, I wonder who is willing to wear this ugly virus on the finger. May be this ring can complement the red AIDS ribbon.
