A dress for the recessionista
Nishtha | Feb 19 2009

The economic downturn has forced us all to squeeze our wardrobe budgets. Wish if there was a buy one dress, get ten free offer somewhere? Well, wish granted!

Designer Sebastian Errazuriz’s show-stopping dress called – The Zipper, which is not made of any fabric, but 120 metal zips fastened together. The best part about the dress is that it can be worn in innumerable ways, depending on the number of zips put together. It can be made into anything from a belt or a T-shirt to a skirt or a long evening dress. The fitting can be conveniently changed from skimpy to lose by adjusting the zipper length. If you feel like baring your sexy midriff, you just need some partial unzipping and the dress can be reduced to a two-piece mini skirt and crop-top.

Versatility is the USP of this black and gray dress, but the weight of 120 COLD zips is not very inviting - is it?
